My interest in genealogy was sparked by the notes I found after my Aunt Ruth passed away. She had spent many hours documenting the family roots.
On this search I have met many interesting people and made some new friends.
Thru the DNA project I have connected with distant cousins in Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Delaware,North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Several of the cousins met in Ocean City Maryland (near Berlin) for a visit.
Growing up our family visited many people that only now I realize were relatives. We must have been related to nearly everyone on the shore. Being a youngster I didn't absorb all the details of their lives that would be so helpful now.
Research is showing that our Jarmon family and its many branches may have all originated on Maryland's Eastern Shore and Delaware.
